Friendship buds and blossoms
And brings joy along the way
The kindness of your laughter
Brings comfort to my day.

I speak to you in the morning
When the sun begins to rise
Your friendship brings a glow
And sunshine to my skies.

I share my days events with you,
You listen to my fears,
You smile and encourage me
And often wipe away my tears.

I look for you at end of day
When I have been put to the test,
Your friendship brings me comfort
When I go to my rest.

Blessed be the bonds of friendship
Tied with ribbons of love
