SUNSHINE
Sunshine on the water
Reflecting clear blue skies
And peeping through the mists
Will bring tears to my eyes.
When I reflect upon the colour
That sunshine brings to me
I realize that without it
How dreary days would be.
It brings me warmth
And ripens grain,
Dries up muddy puddles
After many days of rain.
I feel its warmth
Upon my shoulder,
Seasons changing ~
Getting bolder.
Summer sunshine
Fierce heat,
Sunburned swimmers
Blistered feet.
I love the sunshine
And all that it brings
But I have seen
Some damage it brings.
Sunshine on the water
On the sea and on the land,
Part of the seasons
The way it was planned.
