Remembering Christmas I remember other Christmases And days when they were small ~ A little boy by the Christmas tree Which always looked so tall. Little girls with eyes so bright And tinsel in their hair. The rustle of paper and ribbons And hiding things everywhere. Spicy smells from my kitchen, Candles and lights in the hall. Oh yes I remember Oh so much Of days when they were small. I remember the toys and the boxes, The clutter and passing of years. The happiness and memories The laughter and the tears. Changes have come and now I see The children grown so tall, But I cherish the memories that I have Of the days when they were small. © Linda J. Vaughan November 20th. 2005 www.thepagesofavalon.com
